Can’t Spell Treason without Tea by Rebecca Thorne
Reyna and Kianthe are a power couple in more ways than one. Reyna is a private guard to the Queen and Kianthe is a mage. All they want is to escape their respective fields and find a place to open a tea shop and bookstore. They want to live my dream in essence. Rebecca Thorne’s Can’t Spell Treason without Tea is a super cozy fantasy that has you wanting more. There are a lot of parallels between this book and Legends and Lattes but I don’t care. They are what you want in a low-key fantasy romance. But fear not, there are action scenes plenty of book talk. I don’t know if Travis Baldree invented this high fantasy low stakes genre but I’m glad others are taking up the mantle and running with it. It’s a hot cup of tea on a cold and blustery day.
