Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands by Heather Fawcett
So sorry, I seem to have skipped book two in a trilogy. My sincerest apologies! Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands by Heather Fawcett is a marvelous middle in this trilogy. Emily has made friends in a small Norwegian town, been engaged to and rescued from a Faerie King, and written her Encyclopaedia. Here, in the second installment, she is in the Austrian Alps seeking to further her career and try to make a map to help her friend Wendell find the lost door to his Faerie kingdom. Two birds, right? Of course not! She enlists the help of her niece, who is just as talented and smart as she is, and the dean of her department invites himself along just to add more academic peril. There are more creatures and dangers in this follow up. I hope you like dangerous and deadl Faeries…I know I do.
