I don’t know why this isn’t a movie already. So much action. Oh yeah - it’s about women. Older women.

I don’t know why this isn’t a movie already.  So much action!  Oh yeah, it’s about women.  Older women. Killers of a Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn follows Billie, Mary Alice, Helen, and Natalie who were recruited in the 70s to work for The Museum.  They are assassins.  Now they are retirement age and it seems that while they have earned their rest, The Museum doesn’t want to pay up. The all-expenses cruise they were offered is nothing more than a death trap.  What you don’t want to do is back trained killers into a corner.  They are nothing if not brilliant and deadly.  I’m thinking Frances Mc Doramand, Holly Hunter, and a million other ladies who could kick this much ass!  Dame Helen Mirren as the Shepherdess.
