I’m sure it’s obvious I am a nineties girl.  So, Party Girl (1995) Daisy von Scherler Mayer was a life that is aspired to.  I worked at the library (NO WAY!) in high school and so a movie about a young woman living a glamorous, wild existence and finding her life’s purpose at the library nearly made me swoon!  Mary parties hard, maybe too hard, but after an arrest she is forced to call her god mother to bail her out.  Conditionally, she must also work at the library and try to sort out her chaotic life of late nights and deadly outfits.  On her way to work she meets Mustafa who runs a falafel cart while he tries to figure out how to become a teacher in America.  It doesn’t start out well, but Mary and Mustafa find love and answers at the library!
