Somewhere Beyond the Sea by T.J. Klune

If you’ve read my review of T.J. Klune’s previous work, it will be no surprise that I loved and cried at the follow up narrative, Somewhere Beyond the Sea.  Linus and Arthur are caring for and teaching their charges with love and tolerance.  They are turning a town that was against them into a community that values them.  They must, however be courageous in face of those that want to take the family they have built.  Though their charges are magical, unusual, and sometimes dangerous they have become a solid unit that it will take considerable means to break apart.  Klune is masterful in his use of emotions, nonfe more powerful in this case than the courage to speak truth to power.  Something we all need to hear.
