Tea You at the Altar by Rebecca Thorne

The older I get, the more I appreciate books like this.  It’s just fun.  Tea You at the Altar by Rebecca Thorn is cozy fantasy, low stakes, romance, dragons, griffons, tea, books.  It has a lot that I like.  Reyna and Kianthe are getting married and the whole village wants to help them celebrate.  Dignitaries and Lords are coming in from all over the Queendom.  The wedding of ages.  Let’s add in a bit of treason!  In addition to planning a wedding, they are also organizing a coup!  Queen Tillaine must not be allowed to rule and so her half-sister is brought in as someone who can replace her.  Except she doesn’t want the job.  What’s a coup to do?  Add in awkward dates and meeting the in-laws and this is the best/worst week of their lives.  They have each other, that’s all you need, right?

If you haven’t caught up with Reyna and Kianthe yet, head back to A Pirate’s Life for Tea. There are pirates, dragon eggs, romance, and a baby griffon named Ponder waiting for you before the wedding festivities begin. Read the review →
