The Impossible Fortune (Thursday Murder Club, #5) by Richard Osman
In The Impossible Fortune, the fifth installment of the Thursday Murder Club, things are progressing as well as they can be, Elizabeth is grieving her husband, Stephen. Joyce is celebrating because her daughter is getting married and the intrigue begins at the reception when the best man tells Elizabeth someone is trying to kill him. How could she not be intrigued? This gives her the nudge she needs to get back to what she and her friends to best…murder. There are a few plot lines that intersect and make things a little muddled for me, but all my favorites are there. Bogdan and Donna are strong and sweet, like a builder’s tea. Nothing but positivity and friendship in this adventure. Another book in another series after this. I’m not sure I can wait, but I’ll have to. Write fast Mr. Osman! It’s feel good, it’s comforting, I love it.
