Vera Wong’s Guide to Snooping (On a Dead Man) by Jesse Q. Sutanto
I’m so glad that Jesse Q. Sutanto wrote a follow up for my new favorite detective and gave meVera Wong’s Guide to Snooping (On a Dead Man) I was already missing Vera and her bossiness. I’m sure I will have a long wait for number three, but I am patient and have plenty of books in my stacks. Vera meets Millie outside the police station after she is there to report being phone scammed and she can see that she needs help. Vera’s help. She takes her back to her infamous shop for tea and finds out that Millie’s friend is missing, but when Vera finds out more, she discovers that this friend is a mystery to not just her newest chum/suspect but also to most of the people in his life. All the family from book one is back and Vera expands her circle even more with this group of “persons of interest.” Another quick and hilarious mystery. I think Vera should go international for the next installment.
