Is It Just Me? by Miranda Hart
I can't say nearly enough lovely, wonderful, stupendous things about Miranda Hart. She is a personal hero who has stumbled through life with grace and hilarity. It’s not just her. I felt that her story was my story. I think I could match every cringing, embarrassing, and humiliating moment from somewhere in the depths of my psyche. Excepting the chapter on pets. If you love dogs, you will not be disappointed in her love for Peggy. Her personality and philosophy permeate every word. Listening to her read it made it even more fun. She sometimes interjects as her younger self and is adorably dim and exasperated with herself. I’m just glad the joy I got from her TV show translated to the page. Write more, Miranda! And after you write more, read the audio version!
