He is the only child of a woman that has just remarried and leaves him to the mercy those held over at the Christmas holiday. When all the others get a way out, Angus is left alone with the walleyed Professor Hunham, a man so stuck in his rut he has no idea what to do with just one student and nothing to do. They leave school and have a getting to know you adventure in New England in the cold and snow and just plain brown of 1970. Once the door is opened between them, they can’t help but be the kind of friends that change your life even if you know them only briefly.
